Belarusians all over the world taking part in flashmob launched by Foreign Ministry to mark Independence Day
On the occasion of Independence Day, Belarus’ Foreign Ministry – together with the country’s foreign missions and with the active participation of Belarusians abroad – launched a colourful flashmob on social networks, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry
Young and adult Belarusians around the world are taking photos against the background of iconic landmarks and recording kind videos with Belarus’ national symbols – carefully kept by them as a sign of endless love for the Motherland.
“Belarus is our everything! Happy holidays, my beloved country! Well-being, prosperity and a peaceful sky above the head,” the messages read.
Belarusians from dozens of countries have already joined the flash mob.
To mark the 80th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from Nazi invaders, the heads and employees of the Belarusian diplomatic missions and representatives of the diaspora have prepared video stories about their ancestors who went through the horrors and hardships of that terrible war.
“Their feat is our sacred memory,” the diplomats underline.
