Belarusian NPP presents its products at IAEA General Conference in Vienna
A meeting of the 67th session of the IAEA General Conference has begun its work in Vienna on September 25th, and the Belarusian nuclear power plant is presenting an exhibition at the Vienna International Centre, Belarus’ Energy Ministry reports

The exposition features information about the implementation of Belarus’ national nuclear energy programme.
“Visitors to the stand can get acquainted with the development of nuclear energy and nuclear safety infrastructure in the country, learn about the formation of an appropriate regulatory framework and a training system for the industry. In addition, information on the development of the socio-economic infrastructure of Ostrovets – which is a town of nuclear workers – is available,” the press centre reported.
The construction of the Belarusian NPP is being completed in the republic. ‘Openly, responsibly and in co-operation with leading international organisations’ – primarily, the IAEA, Belarus is starting to ensure a high level of protection of the station.
All the IAEA important missions recommended for the countries engaged in the construction of the first nuclear power plant have been carried out in Belarus. The suggestions and recommendations of specialists have become the mainstay in the implementation of the national nuclear energy programme.
Belarus is sharing its experience with other countries as well.
