Belarusian food presented in 116 countries
The Agriculture and Food Minister, Igor Brylo, has reported on exports of Belarusian agricultural products
Mr. Brylo informed that Kazakhstan ranked 3rd in terms of exports in 2021. Moreover, the country has been among the leaders this year as well.
“At present, 116 countries already buy our products, but it is still important for us to further increase sales along the strategic directions,” the Agriculture and Food Minister noted in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel.
According to Mr. Brylo, the CIS states account for 79 percent of exports, while Russia’s share makes 69 percent.
“Based on Q3 figures, sales to Europe, South and North America also rose, with Asia and Oceania being our strategic regions. These are primarily countries with millions of people, and they experience more food shortages. Over the years, we have also established supplies to Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Sales to Ukraine have stopped, and actually our trade and economic relations have been put on pause with this country,” Mr. Brylo noted.
