Belarus, Uzbekistan outlined ways to develop military co-operation
The Chief of Belarus’ General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister Viktor Gulevich, took part in negotiations with the First Deputy Defence Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov, Belarus’ Defence Ministry reports in its Telegram channel

Negotiations between representatives of the military departments took place during Viktor Gulevich’s official visit to Uzbekistan.
As reported, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral military co-operation and outlined ways to intensify it in areas of mutual interest.
Viktor Gulevich also visited the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and other educational institutions, where he got acquainted with the structure, tasks and system of training military personnel, educational material base and living conditions of students.
In addition, the Chief of Belarus’ General Staff took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Ode to Perseverance monument in the Victory Park memorial complex.
