Belarus, Uzbekistan discuss implementation of agreements reached at top level
Leonid Marinich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan, has met with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Bakhromjon Aloev – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
It is noted that a wide range of topics of the bilateral Belarusian-Uzbek political dialogue was discussed.
“The parties focused on the implementation of the agreements reached at the top level, the intensification of interaction in education, medicine and cultural and humanitarian spheres, the development of inter-parliamentary relations and inter-regional contacts, and interaction within the framework of multilateral international organisations. Plans have been outlined for upcoming joint events and meetings,” the press service added.
The sides also noted the positive dynamics of trade-economic co-operation, expressing interest in further increasing mutual trade and implementing joint Belarusian-Uzbek investment projects.
