Belarus taking part in Caspian Oil & Gas Expo in Baku
As part of the Made in Belarus exposition, enterprises of the Belarusian oil and gas industry are taking part in the Caspian Oil & Gas international exhibition, which is taking place on May 31st-June 2nd in Azerbaijan’s Baku – as reported on the website of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI)
The organiser of the Belarusian exposition is Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition has been gathering leading representatives of the oil and gas industry from all over the world for twenty-eight years. Since last year, the event has been held as part of the Baku Energy Week. Belarus is a permanent member of Caspian Oil & Gas and presents advanced developments in the field of petrochemical production.
As part of the official opening ceremony of the event, the Belarusian stand was visited by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The Made in Belarus exposition features the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry Belneftekhim, Naftan JSC, Grodno Azot JSC, its branch Plant Khimvolokno, as well as Mozyr Oil Refinery and the Mineral Wax Plant.
Participants showcase cutting-edge technologies in refining, petrochemical production and oil and gas operations that reduce environmental impact and increase energy efficiency, as well as polyethylene, chemical fibres, oils, paraffins, model formulations, lubricants, mixed fertilisers, threads and composite materials.
“The presentation of such a wide range of petrochemical products underlines Belarus’ role in the industry and confirms the country’s desire to expand its presence and open up new opportunities in the oil and gas sector,” the BelCCI press service noted.
