Belarus, Syria discussed liaisons in politics, economy and trade

Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikalai Barysevich, has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Belarus, Mohammad Aloumrani – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The sides discussed Belarusian-Syrian liaisons in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian fields, also paying special attention to the exchange of visits, preparation of the 8^th Joint Belarusian-Syrian Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Co-operation, as well as further mutual support in the international arena.

The Ambassador of Syria expressed gratitude for the humanitarian assistance provided by the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian people.
