Belarus, Russia outlined joint steps to promote mutually beneficial initiatives in Latin America

Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Shestakov has held a meeting with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in Moscow, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported

During the meeting, issues of interaction in the context of the Russian Federation’s chairmanship of BRICS and Belarus’ participation in the association’s upcoming events were discussed.

The parties separately discussed the topic of interaction with Latin American countries, ‘synchronising watches’ regarding the current state and prospects for the development of relations with the Latin American region.

Moreover, deputy heads of the foreign ministries of Belarus and Russia outlined joint steps to promote mutually beneficial initiatives in Latin American countries.
