Belarus pavilion placed second in Dubai Expo 2020 pavilion ranking
The professional exhibition magazine Exhibitor has published a rating of pavilions at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai across 14 categories, with Belarus included in the Best Elements and Details nomination
According to the results of the jury voting, Belarus took second place in the Best Elements and Details category.
Belarus is admitted to the Exhibitor magazine’s nominations for the second time in the history of its participation in Expo events (previously in 2010 in Shanghai). It is the first time the Belarusian pavilion was awarded such a high place.
Moreover, according to the results of the preliminary selection, the Belarus pavilion was included by the Exhibitor magazine jury in the top-40 (out of 200) country pavilions to participate in the Public's Choice nomination. According to the results of the public online voting on the magazine's website, the Belarus pavilion joined the top-20 best pavilions of the Dubai Expo 2020.
The central element of the Belarusian exposition is a full-length nine-metre handmade frame tapestry – The Tree of Knowledge – performed by the Belarusian artist, which has previously been recognised as one of the most interesting art and cultural exhibits of the event.
