Belarus, Oman discuss trade-economic liaisons
Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus non-resident, Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission’s Telegram channel
“During the conversation, the heads of the diplomatic missions discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, the schedule of upcoming contacts between Minsk and Muscat, alongside trade-economic interaction,” the Belarusian embassy informed.
Dmitry Krutoi expressed confidence that Belarus and Oman have all the backgrounds for the development of trade-economic liaisons, including through expanding the range of commodity items. The Ambassador of Oman suggested holding joint events (e.g., exhibitions and fairs) both in Belarus and in Oman. The Omani diplomat also added that he raised this topic during the talks at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of his visit to Minsk in February this year.
