Belarus, Oman discuss prospects for expanding trade-economic co-operation
Abdullah Al Harthy, member of the Board of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Honorary Consul of Belarus in Oman, has met with Head of the Department of International Co-operation and Exhibition Activities of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Aleksandr Golovarev – as reported on the BelCCI official website
The two sides discussed the prospects for expanding the Belarusian-Omani trade-economic liaisons. Moreover, the parties considered the main areas of collaboration between the BelCCI and the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including the updating of the co-operation agreement between the two organisations and the creation of the Belarusian-Omani Business Committee on the basis of the bilateral business co-operation council, the Omani part of which will be headed by Abdullah Al Harthy.
The parties also discussed the possibility of holding the first meeting of the Belarusian-Omani Business Committee this year in Belarus, and also agreed to organise an online meeting of business circles of the two countries keen on interaction in tourism in the near future.
