Belarus, Iran discussed promising areas of co-operation and exchange of visits

The Belarusian-Iranian consultations on general political issues were held at the Foreign Ministry. It is reported that Belarus was represented at the meeting by Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Shestakov, and Iran – by Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the Belarusian-Iranian political, economic and humanitarian agenda, including the implementation of agreements reached at the high and highest levels, promising areas of co-operation and the exchange of visits. They also shared views on the current regional and international agenda.
