Belarus, Iran discuss prospects for further co-operation
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting between the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi and a delegation of Iranian business circles – as reported on the BelCCI website
During the meeting, the prospects for further development of co-operation between Belarusian and Iranian enterprises and organisations were discussed, the results of the Belarusian business delegation’s visit to Tehran in November 2022 were summed up, and the priorities of interaction between the BelCCI and the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture were considered.
The BelCCI Chairman invited representatives of Iranian business to visit Belarus during 2023, including within the framework of major international exhibition events scheduled for this year, and also confirmed BelCCI’s readiness to assist in organising a visit to Belarus of representatives of Iranian ports to present infrastructure, capabilities of terminals for transshipment of products, prospects for interaction with Belarusian companies.
During the meeting representatives of the Iranian business circles present spoke about the successful experience of collaboration with Belarusian enterprises, indicating their interest in deepening partnerships in the petrochemical and chemical industries, automotive, mining equipment, metal goods, etc.
