Belarus' gold and foreign currency reserves up to almost $8bn in July

According to preliminary information, Belarus’ international reserve assets amounted to $7973.5m in equivalent as of August 1^st, the National Bank reports

In July, gold and foreign currency reserves increased by $182m (2.3 percent) after the $80.6m decrease (1.02 percent) in June.

"Since August 2022, information on the volume of international reserve assets has been published on the official website of the National Bank without specifying the factors that influenced their change," the National Bank noted.
