Belarus' gold and foreign currency reserves up to almost $8bn in August

According to preliminary data, Belarus’ international reserve assets amounted to $7991.2m in equivalent as of September 1^st, the National Bank reports

In August, gold and foreign currency reserves increased by $17.7m (0.2 percent) after the $182m growth (2.3 percent) in July.

As noted by the National Bank, since August 2022, information on the volume of international reserve assets has been published on the official website of the National Bank without specifying the factors that influenced their change.
