Belarus’ Embassy in Korea organised thematic stand at Busan Festival

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea has taken part in the Global Gathering 2024 international festival in Busan, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission

The event has brought together over 60 different organisations from more than 30 countries, and about 15 thousand people have become its guests.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Korea, Andrei Chernetsky, took part in the Global Gathering opening ceremony. He also held talks with Busan’s Vice Mayor and Immigration Service Head. The diplomat thanked the organisers for the opportunity to take part in a major cultural event and introduce South Korean citizens to Belarusian culture.

The diplomatic mission organised a thematic stand – Find Your Belarus – at the exhibition, and visitors could taste traditional Belarusian homemade pastries, get acquainted with the country’s tourist opportunities and learn more about its culture and history. Colouring books with pictures of Belarus’ national symbols and landscapes were prepared especially for young guests of the forum.
