Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister: China is key market to promote high-quality Belarusian goods in Asian region
Belarus is ready to participate in the projects of the Association for the Promotion of Hong Kong Heilongjiang Economy – as stated by Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko during a meeting with a Hong Kong business delegation headed by Johnny Hong, the President of the Association for the Promotion of Hong Kong Heilongjiang Economy. The event was also attended by representatives of the National Agency for Investment and Privatisation, sb.by reports with reference to the Economy Ministry’s press service.
“Belarus pays special attention to regional ties and initiatives. Our countries have a long history, and the building of our relations has lasted for decades. Today, China is our strategic partner and a key market for the promotion of high-quality Belarusian goods in the Asian region,” Alesya Abramenko noted, stressing that there is already a good start for co-operation.
“It is not difficult to foresee significant prospects and potential for interaction in such areas as logistics, medicine, financial technologies, Web 3.0 and blockchain, as well as biotechnology,” she added.
According to the Deputy Economy Minister, Belarus is ready to liaise with the Hong Kong business community in establishing joint production facilities for vehicles, equipment and automotive components, medical equipment, medicines.
“We welcome the arrival of Hong Kong’s high-tech companies to the Great Stone Industrial Park, which will undoubtedly contribute to its prosperity and development,” Ms. Abramenko asserted.
