Belarus, Cuba discussed liaisons in legal sphere
Belarusian-Cuban inter-ministerial consultations were held in Havana. As reported by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service, Belarus’ delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Shestakov, and the Cuban delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo.
The sides exchanged views on issues on the bilateral agenda and appreciated effective co-operation between Belarus and Cuba on international platforms. Special attention was paid to development of a legal framework of Belarusian-Cuban liaisons.
In addition, on June 7th, Mr. Shestakov met with the Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, to discuss implementation of the agreements reached following a visit of the President of Cuba to Belarus in October 2019. Mutual interest in further maintaining regular contacts at the high and highest levels was voiced.
