Belarus, Arab League discussed promising areas of co-operation
Sergei Terentiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the League of Arab States (LAS), has met with Ali Al-Maliki, the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs at the League of Arab States, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian Foreign Ministry
The parties discussed promising areas of co-operation between Belarus and the League of Arab States with a focus on the economic component. They noted the results of co-operation with the LAS specialised institutions in the agricultural and educational spheres, and outlined steps to build contacts with the LAS institutions in the field of information technology, industry, and energy.
The two sides also stressed the importance of mutually beneficial trade-economic liaisons between Belarus and Arab countries in the context of global crises.
