The Republic of Belarus and Russia’s Altai Krai discussed interactions in infrastructure and product supplies, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection informed after the 5th meeting of the working group for co-operation between Belarus and Altai had concluded. Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Natural Resources Ivan Prihodko and Altai’s Deputy Head of Government Aleksandr Prokopyev chaired the meeting, sb.by reports citing the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Head of Belarus’ Embassy to the Russian Federation office in Novosibirsk Sergei Telezhinsky, representatives of the Industry Ministry, State Authority for Military Industry, and managers of certain companies also attended the meeting from the Belarusian side.
The parties highlighted the need to further expand bilateral ties across the entire range of trade, economy, research, public, and cultural relations.
“We have a lot of great prospects in infrastructure, equipment supplies, heavy machinery, consumer goods, and foods lined up. We are ready to discuss them in detail and tie them in with our involvement in ambitious infrastructure projects that are being implemented or planned in Altai Krai,” Mr. Prikhodko said.
He invited representatives of that Russian region to the My Belarus exhibition that is going to showcase Belarus’ greatest achievements in 30 years of its sovereign history and to the 3rd Ecology Expo exhibition planned for August 2025.
