Belarus’ Alina Harnasko won international tournament of rhythmic gymnastics in Spain
The traditional international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Winter Queen Cup has finished in the Spanish city of Platja d’Aro, with Belarus’ Alina Harnasko becoming its absolute champion – as reported by the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry
The adult team of Belarus was also represented at the competitions by world championship medallist Anastasiia Salos and Nicole Liauta competed among the juniors. Harnasko earned the highest total points in the all-around (139.484 points), as well as the highest points in all individual exercise finals. Based on the results of all five types of the senior programme, Salos claimed silver.
As far as the junior competitions are concerned, Belarusian athlete Nicole Liauta also took leading positions in the exercises with the ball, hoop, clubs and ribbon, as well as in the all-around.
In total, 570 athletes from Belarus, Spain, Andorra, Belgium, Greece, France, Great Britain, Italy, Lithuania, Romania and the United Arab Emirates took part in the III Winter Queen Cup tournament.
