Belarus aims to work with all Latin American countries

It is a goal and a principal task for Belarus to work with all countries of the Latin American region – as stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Evgeny Shestakov during the 3rd Belarus-Latin America Forum in Moscow

The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the traditional partners of Belarus in the region remain those countries with which we co-operated back in the socialist camp: Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

“Today, we naturally set ourselves the task of exploring new markets in Latin America – first of all, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and all other Central and Latin American countries that want to co-operate with us in the supply of our equipment, especially construction, agricultural, and quarry ones,” Evgeny Shestakov added.

However, Mr. Shestakov emphasised the unconditional desire to work with partners from the entire Latin American region and the Caribbean in order to develop co-operation at the sub-regional level.
