Argentine President Milei declared unwillingness to co-operate with autocrats and communists
Argentine President-elect Javier Milei said that he sees ‘liberal democracies’ as his partners in the international arena, TASS reports
In an interview with the LN+ TV channel, the Argentine leader said that he will always be on the side of those who defend freedom, peace, and those who believe in liberal democracy. "I am not going to be with authoritarian regimes and communists," Mr. Miley stressed.
The politician noted that he condemns the ‘dictatorship of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’, and called the latter's words with respect to him inappropriate. Earlier, Mr. Maduro said that ‘ultra-right neo-fascism’ had won the presidential election in Argentina.
On November 19th, the second round of presidential elections was held in Argentina. Libertarian MP Javier Milei, who was nominated from the right-wing Liberty Advances coalition, beat Economy Minister Sergio Massa in the presidential race.
