Agreement on air communication signed between Belarus and Oman
The air services agreement between the Government of Belarus and the Sultanate of Oman was signed in the city of Muscat – as reported by the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry in its Telegram channel
The document was signed by Director of the Aviation Department of the Transport and Communications Ministry of Belarus Igor Golub and President of Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority Naif Ali Hamed Al-Abri.
The agreement is aimed at regulating operational and technical aspects in the field of air transport between the two countries and is the legal basis for the operation and organisation of flights, which will further allow the designated air carriers to operate passenger and cargo flights between the airports of Belarus and Oman.
As noted in the department, the implementation of the agreement will also help strengthen tourism, alongside economic and commercial ties between the countries.
