Afghan enterprise, FEZ Minsk discussed promising options for co-operation
The administration of the free economic zone (FEZ) Minsk met with the head of Afghanistan-based Zafaran Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Hashmat Seyar Amarkhail, sb.by reports with reference to the website of the FEZ Minsk
The Afghan company is interested in trade, production, and investments, as well as considering the possibility of building a pharmaceutical enterprise on the territory of the FEZ.
The First Deputy Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration, Sergei Bubenko, spoke at the meeting about the investment potential, the specifics of obtaining resident status, and possible areas of activity in the FEZ. The Belarusian and Afghan sides also discussed promising options for co-operation.
According to the FEZ Minsk, Zafaran Pharmaceuticals has been working in the healthcare sector for more than 25 years and is one of the five largest pharmaceutical companies in Afghanistan. The company has a licence to produce more than 60 different medicines, and specialises in the production of generics, capsules, dry suspensions, and injectables.
