Lukashenko congratulated Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on enthronement anniversary
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent congratulations to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on the anniversary of his enthronement – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
“All the years of service at the Head of the Russian Orthodox Church, you actively care for your fellow believers, treating their needs with great concern and generously sharing your rich experience,” the congratulatory message reads. “Your life is an example of following the holy precepts of the Saviour, strict faith in Him, for only it is capable of changing and transforming a person, filling the soul with true meaning and joy. Your prayers warm the homes of the peoples of Belarus and Russia, while strengthening our fraternal relations.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Patriarch Kirill strong health, prosperity, peace and harmony.
