34th International Festival of Ancient and Modern Chamber Music launched in Polotsk

St. Sophia Cathedral hosts the musical event dedicated to Polotsk’s 1160th anniversary

“Apart from Polotsk’s jubilee, the festival is marked by other important dates: the Year of Historical Memory — in our Polotsk land, much is connected with historical memory — and the 500^th anniversary of the publication of Small Travel Book by Polotsk’s distinguished Francysk Skaryna,” a creative leader of the festival, an organ player and an Honoured Artiste of Belarus, Ksenia Pogorelaya, explained.

All these dates and celebrations echo with a concert programme.
