$266m of contracts concluded at MILEX-2023
The results of the International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment MILEX-2023 – held in Minsk on May 17th-20th – exceeded expectations: more than 1.5 thousand samples of military equipment were presented at the show, and almost 30 official delegations from 19 countries took part, ONT TV channel reports
Co-operation roadmaps were signed, and – according to the Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry, Dmitry Pantus – the total amount of contracts exceeded $266m. Fourteen export contracts and several import ones were signed. "In general, 34 different regions took part in the exhibition. To date, more than ten documents have been signed," the official said.
As noted by experts, the sanctions of the collective West have become a kind of impulse in the development of the military-technical industry. The State Authority for Military Industry has agreed on new projects with partners in Russia, China and Iran.
