1.5 times more industrial tourists visited BELAZ over the year
The number of industrial tourists visiting BELAZ JSC increased to 51,595 over the year. In 2023, about 4,300 admirers of the large vehicles came to the plant every month and more than 1,700 excursions were conducted (42 per cent more than in 2022), BELAZ reports in its Telegram channel.
“In total, for eight and a half years since the start of the BELAZ – Brand of Belarus project, more than 240,000 visitors from Belarus, Russia and dozens of other countries from near and far abroad have been able to personally assess the scale and uniqueness of the enterprise. One of the most popular activities among the guests is to ride in the cabin of a real BELAZ dump truck. So, last year, tourists took a ride in the dump truck’s cabin almost two thousand times,” the company summed up.
By the way, a lot of work is underway today to create new travel products, broaden the range of travel services and thematic excursion routes, prepare interactive children's locations and original photo zones and expand the range of branded products. Visits to the plant are organised daily from 8am to 20pm with mandatory prior agreement on the date and time of the visit.
