On November 3rd-4th, representatives of the business community, financial institutions, political and public figures, diplomats gathered in Samarkand to discuss the prospects of industrial and technological co-operation in Greater Eurasia, also focusing on the issues of a new technological revolution, the problem of climate and conservation of natural resources in conditions of a growing disunity in the world

"Despite the difficult geopolitical situation, international and interregional co-operation remains the basis for development," Murat Mirzaev, the Director of Uzbekistan’s Investment Promotion Agency, said. “Industry is looking for new directions and methods of work, diversifying ties and co-operative chains. New business conditions are emerging in the economic space of Greater Eurasia, primarily in the Eurasian Economic Union. This region demonstrates great resilience, which attracts investors to industrial projects. Co-operative and industrial ties are the strongest ones, and they form the basis for sustainable long-term partnership.”

This year, the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum was held under the Economy of Trust and Business Diplomacy from the Atlantic to the Pacific motto and aimed to establish contacts between the East and the West. The forum was organised by the Italian non-profit Conoscere Eurasia Association, with the assistance of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
