Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, WB signed $700m-worth grant agreement
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has signed an agreement with the World Bank, according to which Kiev will be provided with grant assistance in the amount of $700m, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Ukrainian department
“The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the World Bank have signed a Grant Agreement under the Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Multi-Donor Trust Fund and a Loan Agreement under the Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE) Project,” the source informed.
It is reported that, among other things, the allocated funds will be directed to small agricultural producers who specialise in cattle, goat or sheep farming. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the project is planned to be implemented in 2023-2024.
