Tourist route along Berezina River launched in Belarus
The route covers about 15km and it will take a couple of hours to pass it by kayaking boats
The Urechye tourist base has already purchased five watercrafts for a journey along the river and plans to replenish its fleet in the future.
The water trip is accompanied by beautiful landscapes along the banks, with focus also on history. A monument to the kneeling soldier is located at the starting point of the journey; it was moved to the tourist base from the mass grave of the Ola memorial. The route ends at the mouth of the Ola River; here, a cross of worship was erected not so long ago in honour of the 1030th anniversary of Orthodoxy in Belarus.
The route is likely to be interesting to local vacationers and foreign guests, and it has been already tested. The first travellers were impressed with their water adventure, and it is no doubt that the journey will enjoy demand.
