State Border Committee: number of tourists from expanded visa-free list of countries almost doubled in a week
The visa-free regime introduced on July 19th for residents of another 35 European countries is gaining popularity: about 800 tourists visited Belarus in a week, and the number of foreigners almost doubled against the previous similar period, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ State Border Committee
According to the source,4,649 foreigners from the neighbouring EU countries used the visa-free regime over a week: 2,501 travellers came from Latvia, 1,360 – from Lithuania, and 788 – from Poland. In total, 937,837 foreigners have visited Belarus since April 15th, 2022.
