Soyuz MS-25 manned spacecraft, with Belarusians as part of crew, loaded with fuel
The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, on which a representative of Belarus will fly into space, has been loaded with fuel, the press service of Roscosmos reports
It is noted that ‘at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, specialists of S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia and other enterprises of the Roscosmos State Corporation completed refuelling of the Soyuz MS-25 manned spacecraft with fuel components and compressed gases’.
According to the press service of Roscosmos, after refuelling, the spacecraft was delivered to the assembly and test building of the 254th site and installed at the workplace for stowing cargo delivered to the International Space Station, checking the tightness of hatches and control photographing of the Soyuz MS-25, installing screen-vacuum heat insulation on the surface of the compartments, control weighing the spacecraft, and docking with the transition compartment of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft by the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle is scheduled for March 21st. The main crew includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, a participant of the space flight from the Republic of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson, the backup crew includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Ivan Vagner, a participant of the space flight from the Republic of Belarus Anastasia Lenkova and NASA astronaut Donald Pettit.
