Shestakov discussed bilateral co-operation with Pakistani Ambassador
Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Shestakov has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Sajjad Haider Khan – as reported by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
“The two sides discussed current issues of Belarusian-Pakistani co-operation in the political, trade-economic and cultural spheres, stressing the need to significantly increase bilateral trade turnover and intensify interaction in industry, agriculture, science and education via specialised working groups,” the Foreign Ministry said.
The meeting also tackled the topic of preparing events on the bilateral agenda, including the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Pakistan in February 2024.
