S-400 Triumph division took up combat duty in Belarus
From today, the effectiveness of air defence systems in protecting Belarus’ air borders has been significantly increased, with another S-400 Triumph division being on combat duty – as reported by the Belarusian Defence Ministry in its Telegram channel
As Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Force of the Armed Forces of Belarus Andrei Lukyanovich noted, today is a significant day not only for the division, which is taking up combat duty, but also for the Air Force and Air Defence Force.
“The unit – armed with modern, most advanced anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 – has taken up combat duty. More importantly, it happened on the eve of our main holiday: Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus,” he added.
According to him, during the difficult, extremely tense military-political situation that is developing around Belarus, it’s more important than ever to be fully armed.
Andrei Lukyanovich underlined that the personnel had been trained, mastered modern equipment, worked out their skills at the Kapustin Yar training ground and are ready to fulfil the main task facing the air defence forces.
