Rybakov: Belarus will fully use its right to self-defence

Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council on August 13th, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations, Valentin Rybakov, elaborated on Belarus’ actions in connection with the violation of its airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles launched from the territory of Ukraine, sb.by reports with reference to the Foreign Ministry

“Due to the danger of the situation and global risks, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry will bring detailed information about this incident to the UN and the OSCE. We have already requested that the relevant materials be distributed as documents of the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly. We have also initiated appropriate consultations with our allies and partners, as well as through international structures," the Belarusian diplomat said.

Concluding his speech, Mr. Rybakov stressed, “Belarus will fully use its right to self-defence and properly respond to any provocations or any hostile actions using all available forces, means and capabilities.”
