Russian Deputy Foreign Minister: schedule for Russian nuclear weapons deployment in Belarus remains in force

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov said that the schedule for the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus remains in force. He also noted that there is no transfer of control over it, TASS reports.

Sergei Ryabkov said, “The work schedule concerning the resolution of this issue was made public in the Russian President’s statements. We proceed from that fact that it remains in force. There are no amendments or additions to what has been said about this before.”

He also stressed that there is no transfer of control over nuclear weapons to anyone within the framework of ongoing activities.
