Russia’s Consulate General to open in Grodno
The two states’ governments will conclude an agreement on the establishment of Russia’s Consulate General in Grodno – as evidenced by Resolution No. 767 of the Council of Ministers as of November 10th, 2022 posted on National Legal Internet Portal
The Council of Ministers decided to accept the Foreign Ministry’s proposal agreed with the Justice Ministry and the Finance Ministry to conclude an agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia on the establishment of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Grodno, as well as to approve the text of the note of the Belarusian side.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has been authorised to carry out the necessary procedures for concluding an agreement by exchanging notes.
The document comes into force from the date of its adoption.
