Representatives of Chinese nuclear companies on visit to Belarus
On September 18th-22nd, a delegation of China National Nuclear Power is on a visit to Belarus. Among its members are also representatives of Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation, which operates the Tianwan NPP, BelEnergo State Production Association reports
The Chinese specialists are scheduled to negotiate with BelEnergo and Belenergoremnaladka JSC, also visiting the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
During the visit, Belarusian and Chinese experts plan to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, as well as promising areas of co-operation – such as provision of advisory support and development of liaisons with the Tianwan NPP Training Centre in the field of training (retraining) of management, operational and technical personnel.
"The visit to Belarus has been organised following the Belarusian experts’ visit to the Tianwan NPP in May 2023, during which the issue of sending Belarusian specialists for a production internship to get acquainted in practice with the progress of repair and commissioning work at the Chinese nuclear power plant was discussed, among other points,” BelEnergo informed.
