Premier of China’s State Council Li Qiang arrived in Minsk on official visit

The Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Qiang, has arrived today in Belarus on an official visit

Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Lukashevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Aleksandr Chervyakov, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong met the distinguished guest at the airport.

The programme of the visit includes Li Qiang's participation in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Victory Monument in Minsk.

The Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China is scheduled to hold official talks with the Prime Minister of Belarus in narrow and expanded formats on August 22nd. Official documents are expected to be signed following the negotiations.

On August 23rd, Roman Golovchenko and Li Qiang will visit the Great Stone Industrial Park.

As earlier reported, Belarus and China are preparing a package of agreements in the economic sphere that will consolidate plans for promising partnership between the two states in key areas of co-operation.
