Lukashenko to meet with Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold a meeting with the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Qiang, who is on an official visit to Belarus, today, BelTA reports

The high-ranking Chinese guest will also hold talks with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko in Minsk. During the visit, a number of international legal documents are expected to be signed, which consolidate plans for a promising partnership between Belarus and China in key areas of co-operation, including the economy and trade, industrial and technological liaisons, science and education, medicine, digital and green development, and regional interaction.

Last year, bilateral trade reached $8.5bn (134.1 percent compared to 2022), exports of goods and services — $2.4bn (130.6 percent). Trade in services exceeded $800m, with an increase of more than half to the level of 2022.
