Polish army to additionally buy GROT assault rifles

The Polish authorities decided to purchase an additional 70 thousand GROT assault rifles, which had been previously supplied to Ukraine, and Polish Minister of National Defence Mariusz Blaszczak has approved an additional agreement to the 2020 contract for the supply of GROT weapons, RIA Novosti reports

As informed, an additional 70 thousand assault rifles would be supplied by the Radom Arms Factory Archer.

“These are good, tested assault rifles. They are respected by the Polish Army and Ukrainian soldiers. These assault rifles have been tested in battle. We are ordering almost 70 thousand more weapons, and we are also negotiating the signing of another agreement within the next few weeks," Mr. Blaszczak added.
