Poland said it would protect its agriculture from Ukraine

Polish Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Michal Kolodziejczak said that Poland would protect its agriculture in relations with Ukraine ‘like independence’, RIA Novosti reports

Michal Kolodziejczak noted that agriculture in Poland is the most important economic sector, adding that the country would defend Polish agriculture in the same way as its independence.

“We will protect it and act at every stage so that Polish consumers and farmers feel safe and good,” Kolodziejczak said.

At the same time, he noted that the ‘younger brothers’ from Ukraine must understand that ‘it is good to have a partner on their side who will protect and help them, since they will know that they are taken seriously and responsibly’.
