BNTU, Hebei Association for International Personnel Exchange discussed prospects for co-operation
A delegation from China’s Hebei Association for International Personnel Exchange has visited the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) to discuss the prospects for mutually beneficial co-operation, sb.by reports with reference to the education institution’s media centre
On the part of the association, Chairman Yu Dong and clerk Zhang Jiapeng attended the meeting. The BNTU interests were represented by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaichik, Dean of the International Co-operation Faculty Pavel Shirvel and a leading specialist of this department Sergei Borisevich.
“At the meeting, Yu Dong told the audience about the Hebei Province, listing the main areas of work of the Hebei Association for International Personnel Exchange and providing information about the main institutions operating on its premises,” the BNTU media centre noted.
Yuri Nikolaichik, in turn, familiarised the guests with the history of BNTU, describing the University 3.0 programme implemented by the educational establishment, and BNTU’s place in the world rankings. Moreover, he noted the university’s contribution to the national economy.
It is noted that the parties discussed such topics as the possibility of inviting employees abroad for further research and development, creating internships and summer camps for Belarusian students and schoolchildren.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the two delegations exchanged souvenirs. BNTU expressed gratitude to the Hebei Association for International Personnel Exchange for the visit and expressed hope for further co-operation.
