In his interview with the Štandard news portal, Mr. Fico said, “Assassination attempts have not stopped.”
Reports indicate that an armed man was apprehended in early October at a public event where the PM participated.
“He says he hates me because of my approach to [the conflict in] Ukraine,” said the Slovak official, adding that the man’s attitude was combative.
The firearm was discovered on him when he was passing through a metal detector at the entrance.
