Parliamentarians of Belarus, Kazakhstan to intensify co-operation

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Pavel Utyupin, has met with Nurlan Beknazarov, the Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judicial System and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakh part of the commission on co-operation of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Embassy in Kazakhstan

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral co-operation between Belarus and Kazakhstan and highly appreciated the positive dynamics of liaisons in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Moreover, the need to maintain a high pace of interaction between the two countries’ parliaments on both bilateral and multilateral tracks was stressed.

Belarus’ Ambassador informed Nurlan Beknazarov about the formation of the Belarusian part of the commission, headed by Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic Sergei Sivets.

In connection with the formation of the Belarusian and Kazakh parts of the joint commission on co-operation, the parties agreed to organise a meeting between Belarusian and Kazakh parliamentarians.
