Pakistan’s Ambassador on bilateral relations
The Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan, with details reported by the university press service
“Mr. Sajjad Haider Khan met with BSEU First Vice-Rector Tatiana Sadovskaya and Vice Rector for Academic Activities Olga Morozevich to discuss the priorities of academic co-operation with Pakistani universities,” the press serviced noted.
Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan gave an introductory lecture on Pakistan, speaking about the challenges for the South Asian region, as well as Pakistani-Belarusian bilateral relations. University students were also able to ask questions and personally communicate with the diplomat.
The press service recalled that this is not the first visit of Pakistan’s representatives to BSEU. In May 2023, a representative of the International University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Muhammad Ashfaq, visited the university. His lecture in English for students of the School of International Business Communications was devoted to the basics of business and economics. Following his speech to the students, Prof. Muhammad Ashfaq told them that ‘life is about negotiations and marketing’.
“Belarus and Pakistan seek to develop fruitful liaisons in the educational sphere,” the university commented. “Using the example of interaction between representatives of Pakistan and our educational institution, we can see the results of strengthening the scientific potential of Minsk and Islamabad.”
