Musk: no one cares which candidate Washington Post endorses

The Washington Post informed last week that, for the first time since 1988, they are not going to endorse either of the candidates at the US Presidential elections scheduled for November 5th. Since then, two of the paper’s opinion writers and two editors have already tendered their resignations in protest.

“No one cares whom the Washington Post endorses,” Mr. Musk commented on the X social network he owns.

He pointed out that the paper mostly employs ‘insufferable radical leftists’. Concerning the resigned staff writers, the billionaire noted they were ‘some of the worst’, adding that their departure was a good thing.

Traditionally, the Washington Post supports Democratic candidates. Initially, the editorial board was going to endorse Kamala Harris, but the newspaper’s owner, Amazon founder billionaire Jeff Bezos overruled that decision. WP reported that itself, citing four independent sources.
