Musk: Neuralink brain chip implanted in third person
US entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk announced that a brain implant from Neuralink had been successfully implanted in a third person and the company has plans for 20-30 more implants in 2025, RIA Novosti reports
Elon Musk said there are already three people with Neuralink implants, ‘all of them working well’. According to him, 20-30 more patients are expected to receive Neuralink guided implants this year.
In August 2024, Neuralink reported that the second participant in the company’s experiment to implant a chip in the brain could create 3D objects with the power of thought using an implant.
